“Over 1,800 applicants, 1.3 million viewers per episode, 300,000 daily unique users online.”
In 2000, Unsigned CEO, Gavin Myall, approached the UK’s largest daytime TV show, “ITV’s This Morning” to create the ultimate male model competition – discovering now internationally famed male supermodel David Gandy. In 2013, as the boom in the menswear market built towards a crescendo, we re-launched the competition as “The Complete Package”, to discover the heir to his throne.
Producing a comprehensive scouting tour, Unsigned held regional auditions around the UK to create 20-man shortlist from over 1800 applicants. Those who were successful competed against one another through a series of challenges and elimination rounds over a 6 week broadcast period for “The Complete Package” crown – decided by a judging panel comprised of TV personalities Harry Judd and Abbey Clancy and industry experts Regine Weimar – General Manager of HOM, and Cesar Perin – Unsigned’s Head of Scouting.
“The Complete Package” captured audiences in excess of 1.3 million viewers per episode, with a further 300,000 daily unique users visiting the show’s webpage featuring catch-up episodes. The winner of the competition, Ross Hindmarch, landed a modeling contract with Unsigned and became the face of HOM’s S/S14 Campaign. He has since starred in catwalks and campaigns for the likes of Versace, Tom Ford, Superdry, William & Son & Hunter Gather
